Important: We only access your camera when you explicitly choose to take a photo. We do not access your camera in the background or without your permission.

1.3 Photo Library Access

We request access to your photo library to allow you to select existing photos for family member profiles. We only access photos you explicitly select.

While our app allows you to document family members of all ages, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All family member data is entered by adult account holders.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

Your account information is deleted immediately
Family tree data and photos are deleted within 30 days
Backup copies may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes
